If you are in the market for a console or sofa table, you are in luck. I am wrapping up work on a live edge walnut table. I’ve utilized the “cap slab” which is the first cut off a log and typically is discarded. The interplay of the white sapwood with the dark heartwood on walnut gives this piece character and motion unlike any other. The base is welded steel with a satin black powdercoat finish for longevity, the pieces are connected by polished brass hardware for a touch of class. The vertical tubes will be capped by custom machined brass plugs. The great news about this table is it breaks down into four pieces (top, 2 legs and bottom stretcher) and can easily be packed or shipped.
